Provide valve elevation, operator standing level, available chain drop, route obstructions and the space needed to handle the chain. Mark these on a site sketch; do not choose chain length from elevation alone.

State medium, temperature, working pressure, maximum differential pressure, opening frequency and the intended normal valve position.

PIPING AND REPLACEMENT:
Send nominal size, flange standard and facing, bolt pattern, face-to-face dimension, disc clearance and any existing valve drawing or nameplate.

OPERATOR ARRANGEMENT:
Ask the supplier to confirm chainwheel/gearbox orientation, mounting, allowable operating effort, position indication and access for inspection. Do not assume a chainwheel adds electrical control or an area certification.

DOCUMENTS TO AGREE BEFORE SUPPLY
[ ] Configuration-specific outline drawing showing disc travel, gearbox and chain route
[ ] Operation and maintenance instructions for the supplied chain operator
[ ] Confirmed body/seat material schedule and agreed pressure/sealing test scope

Ask the supplier to confirm document availability, applicable scope and order-specific details.
Unverified or unrelated certificates and drawings must not be substituted.
