Construction and installation
A two-piece metal body forms the valve housing. A flat gate moves linearly through the body guides to open or isolate the pipeline. Two-piece body construction is not a double-disc gate arrangement.
Operating configuration
The series uses a bidirectional resilient-seated arrangement. Specify the seat compound and required differential pressure in each direction. Select the body and gate materials separately for the process conditions.
Actuation and service
For an enquiry, provide the fluid and solids content, operating conditions, pipe size, connection requirements, installation orientation and preferred actuation. Confirm the body joint, seat retention, gate travel and maintenance access against the approved drawing.
Enquiry and acceptance
Can it throttle slurry continuously? Isolation service does not automatically establish throttling suitability. For flow control, submit the flow range, pressure drop and solids properties for a configuration review.
