Product and extension
The published configuration has a CF8 body, flanged connections, an extended stem and a pneumatic actuator. The existing CQ941F reference is retained; confirm the ordering code and assembly drawing rather than replacing a code solely from a general naming convention.
Thermal and mechanical review
An extension separates the actuator from the body and may provide space for insulation or installation. Its length, strength, coupling and thermal effects need review. It does not automatically make the valve suitable for every high- or low-temperature service.
Optional special materials
In addition to the illustrated CF8 configuration, other stainless-steel and special-material options, including 2205, 2507, 904 and 310S, may be discussed for the project. This is a group of special-material options, not a claim that all are superduplex steels or are used simultaneously. Specify the complete grade, product form and component in the order and material documents.
On/off or modulating duty
Adding a positioner alone does not guarantee a flow characteristic or control accuracy. Modulating service requires suitable trim, sizing and process review. Confirm actuator action, air supply, torque, failure position and selected accessories against the actual assembly.
Enquiry and technical documents
Provide fluid composition, normal and maximum pressure and temperature, flow, size, connections and operating requirements. Verify the selected data sheet, assembly drawing, material documents and agreed tests; do not transfer ratings from a different product.
