ANSI Class300LB American standard swing flange check valve

Product parameters

ANSI Class300LB American standard swing flange check valve CF8/CF8M/WCB ANSI Class300LB American standard swing flange check valve is a one-way valve, also known as a check valve, which prevents the medium from flowing back in the pipeline. It adopts a built-in rocker arm swing structure. All opening and closing components of the valve are installed inside the valve body and do not penetrate the valve body. Except for the sealing gasket and sealing ring used for the middle flange, there are no leakage points overall, eliminating the possibility of valve leakage. The connection between the swing arm and the valve disc of the rotary check valve adopts a spherical connection structure, which gives the valve disc a certain degree of freedom within a 360 degree range and appropriate micro position compensation. Suitable for cleaning media, not suitable for media containing solid particles and high viscosity.

Check valve

01 Why are check valves usually installed at the pump outlet?
The installation of check valves at the pump outlet is mainly to prevent reverse flow after the pump stops and to reduce the impact of reverse flow and pressure fluctuations on the pump and the system. The specific installation position and valve type should be determined through system hydraulic calculations, pump type, flow rate, water hammer risk, installation direction, and maintenance conditions; whether to install a bottom valve or other check devices at the pump inlet is another issue related to the system design.
